How do I run a report showing my spending for the last year but broken down by category per month?

How do I run a report showing  my spending for the last year but broken down by category per month?  I know how to do it by month but not one report that lists each month with detail by category all in one report.

With the spending by category report you may need to widen it on your screen to see the Interval setting at the top. Set it to Month and you should be good to go

And please remember to set the Date Range for the report. It defaults to "Year to Date". 
If you want to see last year's data, select "Last year" from the Date Range selection list.
