I tried to back up data and it just tells me it can't access the source file and that it is being used elsewhere, but It isn't.

I suggest you insure the data file can not be accessed by another program while you perform a data file backup.  For example, you should not maintain the data file in a Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive folder.

I think this one is due to Windows Defender settings. See this FAQ.

    Hi @MarionW ,

Please post the exact path to your Quicken Data File? It should be located at: Documents\Quicken. It does differ from User to User as some Users, have it located on a separate partition from the operating system, but in the computer.

Note: Holding Down the Left Shift Key or Left Ctrl Key produces Window with Quicken 2019 in the Title Bar.
