How do I stop auto transactions on a backup copy
Oldtreker
I had backed up Quicken to a new file. I didn't change the automatic transactions on the back up because I was afraid it would change on the new file also. If I remove the auto transactions on the back up will that also change the new file?

No, each file stands on its own information.
One way to beat this is to set the computer's clock/date to the date the backup was made prior to doing the restore, that way they won't fire off.

Thank you. I was able to delete the auto payments from the backup file.
