When I used Quicken for Windows, I could easily make an archive. Not so with the Mac version?

The modern Quicken Mac database is designed to be robust and handle nearly unlimited quantities of data (unlike the older databases used in the legacy Quicken Mac 2007 and Quicken Windows). The filters which appear on every register screen and report screen make it very easy to limit the transactions you see to just the current year, while giving you the easy flexibility to just back to look at older transactions when you need to.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19935

Why do you want to do this? It won't appreciably speed up your QMac.AND, once done it's almost impossible to "put Humpty together again".
