How to Move Securities from One Investment Account to Another

What is the best way to move a security and all associated transactions from one investment account to another? I track cost basis by lot and would like to retain all cost basis information.

Using the Shares Transferred function will retain the cost basis as the shares are added into the new account.  There is no need to transfer all the associated transactions (Buys, Sells, ReinvDiv, etc.)

If you want to track performance over a period that spans the transfer date, be sure to include both the old and new accounts in the analysis.

Thanks to each of you. This seemed to work fine and retain my cost basis by lot information.
