That works…nice! Thanks for the tip, Quicken evidently isn't going to fix it too soon so this workaround is the ticket.

Jacobs! You are awesome. That resolved the issue that has plagued me since QM2017! It resolves this thread. Imagine closing an account, but still having the data presented in the graph. FINALLY!

This does need to be fixed. I appreciate Jacobs work around but should not have to use it to make hidden accounts be part of the Portfolio graphy for investments

@jacobs thank you so much for that workaround! Now the investment graphs actually mean something to me. But I completely agree w/you. It makes no sense why "Hide in Lists" would make those accounts completely disappear from all calculations. Even with this workaround, when I look at the Portfolio tab it's cluttered with old closed accounts.

    Quicken, please fix this!

The workaround works for me too, thanks. I'm moving over a dozen accounts from a previous financial services organization to new accounts. The obvious solution for me was to mark the old accounts hidden; marking them closed and making the @jacobs change worked, but it's very non-intuitive. Luckily I came here and found this thread.

In the 'all investing accounts' drop down how about you list the hidden accounts in addition to the regular ones, and let your users decide what they want in that report. Seems like a very straightforward fix to make. Otherwise, moving securities from 1 account to another means your historical data in the Investment Portfolio graph is essentially worthless.

    Thanks for listening

@rhbroberg @John@88 and anyone else who wants to see the developers solve this issue, please make sure you have added yuor vote for this Idea topic. (To do so, go to the first page of the thread and look at the yellow box under the first post. If the arrow under the counter is dark gray, click it to add your vote; if the arrow is light gray, it means you have already voted, and clicking it will remove your vote.)

More votes doesn't guarantee anything, but it may help push the request up the priority list.

I would very much like to see this fixed. My use case is simply that I want to see the historical performance of my investments, but I do not want to clutter up the sidebar with closed accounts. I do see the workaround of changing the Display Options on each closed account do not hide the account in lists, and then to edit the sidebar properties to not show any closed accounts. But that's not what I want. I want to see my closed accounts under the Hidden Accounts grouping. And I do NOT want to see my closed accounts in the selection list every time I try to create a report! I closed them for a reason.

I see that this was submitted many years ago and has "stalled". Just want to let you know there are people who still want this to be fixed.
