DivX does not work from investment account to core account.

Is this a bug? Is there a workaround? It used to work.

What is the investment account type (open the register and press Ctrl + Shift + E)?

DivX is not available in IRA accounts to enable Quicken to follow the cash flow appropriately.

It's a brokerage account and the cash in a linked checking account.

A Linked Checking Account isn't a real account ... but merely the Cash component of your brokerage account.  So, let's check a few things.
In your brokerage account, does the DivX transaction look like this one (obviously the account names and $ will differ)?.
And when you do TOOLS,Account list and then click EDIT adjacent to the brokerage account, does the left side of the Account Details dialog look like this?
NOTE that the Account Details screenshot references the account in the Account named in the 1st graphic.

If you want to be able to transfer cash from the investment account, open the register, press Ctrl + Shift + E, choose No for Show cash in a checking account, and select OK.  Otherwise, I suggest you perform the cash transfer from the linked checking account.

Before making any significant changes, always save a backup: press Ctrl + B

In the Income transaction, in your brokerage account, there are an "Account" field and a "Transfer Account" field.
Do both hold, in your file, the correct info ... and is the "Transfer Account" value different from the "Account" value?
Also, when did you last reconcile the Core account?  Is the value in it correct?
