Quicken for Mac 2020 Premier, Corrupt account/data and exporting to Windows to "clean" file
Using Quicken for Mac 2020 Premier. I had an issue where an account would not connect to my bank. We tried deactivating the account but I could not then reactivate that account. Talking with Premier quicken help via phone they had me export my file to to windows format. Then import my file from that windows file. I then added the same account again, dragged all transactions from the old account to the new account and then deleted the old account. That seemed to clear up the problem. Quicken help said that process strips off non essential information and "cleans" the file. I had a similar occurrence again. How often do I need to "clean" my file?
