Someone Please Explain Downloaded Transaction Option
Example:
I purchase McDonalds for $5.00 on Jan 31, 2020 and Quicken downloads the barclaycard transaction using the posted date of Feb 1, 2020 instead of the actual transaction, or even the manual entry I put in. The manual entry will give me the Blue pencil mark and change the date to the posted date.
This can throw off my monthly budgeting at times. I saw an option checked under "Connected Services" titled: Use Posted Date for Matched Transactions (instead of the date you enter manually).
What does this option do?
