about of previous transaction no,longer show
For many years when I key in a new transaction for a utility bill for example the system would bring in the dollar amount from the most previous transaction but it no longer does. it also seems that all my categories are no longer attached to a given vendor. Is that two new features or two new bugs

Yes, they changed the QuickFill behavior. It was on purpose (and popular demand) that the amount, tags, and memos aren't carried forward with payees. You can create a "rule" with those values, but it won't do so automatically.
The latest version of 5.15 does now allow you to record these amounts like it did in the past. (Mainly, because the former decision wasn't so popular after all.) When you are typing in the category, you will see a checkbox that will allow you to save all the fields Do this once, and all future transactions will behave this way.
