Extending Quicken 2017 - cannot find Enter activation code under Help

Hi... my Quicken 2017 Premier is expiring soon. I had bought Quicken Premier 2019 from Amazon... boxed version. I don't seen the "enter activation code" under help in Quicken 2017. How do I enter the activation code fro the 2019 version I bought or do I need to install Quicken 2019 Premier? Thanks

To install Quicken, I suggest you download and open: https://download.quicken.com/windows/Quicken.exe

You can't use the 2019 activation code to extend your Q2017.

You need to install Q2019 and use the activation code there.

There is no upgrade path from 2017 to Quicken Subscription without problems.

See this procedure to uninstall 2017:  https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7731283/installing-reinstalling-and-upgrading-to-windows-quicken-2017-versions-procedural-adjustment

Do bot reinstall Quicken 2017.

After running CCleaner Free, go to:  https://www.quicken.com/activate

Select / Click I'm a new Quicken member.
If Windows, click Download for Windows. Save it then right-click and click Run as administrator.

If you are going to be using a Data File Password, you will need to reinstall Quicken using this procedure:  https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7844658/installing-reinstalling-windows-quicken-subscription-editions

Why? There is a Quicken Activation Server Bug, that you will see if you are going to use a Data File Password..

Don't wait. You don't want to encounter install problems (they're few and far between, but non-zero) and get caught flat footed with no Q.
