    Hello @esko1954,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your questions.

The default location for Quicken master data files on the mac is in the hidden library. You can find this by following the pathway below--
    1. Open Finder
    2. Hold "Option" on your keyboard
    3. Click on the "Go" menu at the top of your screen (while holding "Option")
    4. Click "Library" in the dropdown menu (while holding "Option")
    5. Let go of the "Option" key
    6. Open "Application Support" folder
    7. Open "Quicken" folder
    8. Open "Documents" folder and this would be the default location
In the "Quicken" folder you will also have a "Backups" folder where all backups and automatic backups are saved. The file extensions for Quicken master data files is ".quicken" and the file extension for Quicken backup files is ".quickenbackup".

A sanitized file is a data file that removed personally identifiable information so you can comfortably share this file with the Quicken team to help track down issues (if that ever becomes necessary to do, that is).

    Hope this helps!
