Was some of the functionality in the original versions of RPM deliberately left out? If so, why?

Are there any planned enhancements to the 2020 version of Rental Property Manager? If so, please list planned updates and approximate timeline for them to be delivered. I have been a long time user of RPM 2.5 and most recently upgraded to 2020 and have not had an easy transition and miss many of the functions from the 2.5 version. Navigating multiple screens and additional key strokes in 2020 seem counterproductive to an upgrade.

Quicken Inc (like Intuit before them), almost never posts about new features before they release the, and they certainly aren't going to post any kind of timeline other than some vague "guess estimate".
