How convert old Quicken file and not disrupt current file?

I have upgraded from Quicken 2007 to Quicken for the Mac by subscription. I essentially started fresh at the beginning of 2020 with the new Quicken. I have my "old" Quicken 2007 file, "My Data.QDFM", which has data for 2019 and earlier. How can I convert that older file safely to new Quicken, to keep for reference, and not disrupt or contaminate the current 2020 Quicken file "My Finances.quicken"? I don't want to mix ANY accounts, securities, categories, or payees (scheduled transactions). I want the files and supporting data totally separate.

Please, follow the steps below to convert your Quicken 2007 file separate from your current 2020 file.- Go to File
- New...
- Choose Start from a Quicken 2007 File
- Follow the prompts to select your 2007 file and convert it
- Go to File
- Open Recent
- Select the name of your current 2020 file (should be the second one in the list)
