Quicken Classic for Mac
Investing (Mac)
Adding an investment company to the supported options.

My daughter has an employer sponsored retirement account with Horace Mann Insurance. Horace Mann is not in Quicken’s list of supported investment sites. Is there a process for requesting that it be added? Horace Mann is an option provided by the State of Iowa to it's employees, public school employees, public safety employees, etc. in Iowa.

Hello
@IAHawk
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to post your issue.
Quicken maintains a list (which you can view by
clicking here
) of the financial institutions that support online services with Quicken. If you would like to add an account to Quicken for automatic download, the financial institution needs to be available in the bank list.
Please take a moment to review the steps and information available
here
.
If the financial institution is still unavailable in the bank list after completing the above steps, the financial institution is unsupported. If you want Quicken to be supported, you will need to contact your financial institution directly and tell them you'd like to download your accounts into Quicken.
Thank you,
-Quicken Tyka

The answer is in the last line of Tyka's response above: you need to contact your financial institution and ask/beg/lobby them to support Quicken. Quicken can't simply add financial institutions; it must be initiated by financial institutions signing up with Quicken.

Thank you. I like the ask/beg/lobby part of your answer. Wish me luck.
