my Asset account has no option to convert to liability

I am running Quicken for Mac 2020, and I USED to be able to set up an asset account and link a loan/liability to it... this option and 'Account Action Gear' does not exist in the Add Account process.

And in the help, the instructions are for Windows, but none for MAC, the screen is totally different. like the option to add a loan to yourself is not an option in MAC, but it is in Windows?0

Actually you aren't talking about converting an asset account into a liability. You are talking about turning an asset account into a "lender loan", which is still an asset to you, and a liability to the person that you lent the money to.
I'm on Windows so I don't know for sure so if I'm wrong hopefully a Mac user will come in and correct me, but I don't believe Quicken Mac has this feature.Signature:

Yes, thank you, a loan to myself...but Maybe I'm thinking back to my Windows days, or Microsoft Money days... but I do remember linking an asset to a liability... but the feature seems to be absent in the MAC version ?:(.0

Hello @banittie
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to post your question, although I apologize for that lender loans are currently unavailable for the Mac.
If you haven't done so already, please take a moment to visit the Idea post below to add your vote to add this capability to the Mac version.
