why is Quicken stating that Schwab does not allow "*" or special characters for the Quicken vault?

For some years, I have used special characters in Schwab passwords to increase security. I also loaded these passwords to the Quicken password vault for doing account updates. Now, Quicken is giving me an error when I try to update these passwords and stating that Schwab does not allow these characters. This is clearly wrong. How do we get Quicken to allow special characters for Schwab in the vault?

Didn't work. Still will not accept any special characters in the Quicken software. I talked to Schwab security team and they assure me that Schwab will accept special characters, as I have been using for several years.
Something has changed in the Quicken software to not allow special characters, which is not consistent with actual Schwab rules.
How do I talk to a Quicken human being???0 -

I would suggest that you uninstall and reinstall Quicken according to this procedure: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7844658/installing-reinstalling-windows-quicken-subscription-editions
