Is there a way to get rid of the Search box, filter etc showing up under the account name and above the register? I may be wrong but I don't recall seeing this before.

The filters have always been there, the search box used to be off to the right.I think it takes up less space with the new layout.

), but the search box was increased in size. Which I think is a good thing, it was pretty small before. Signature:

If you're trying to make more screen space available within the current size of your Quicken window, try the Full Screen toggle: Press the F11 key to turn on (and off again) the full screen mode. See if that works for you.
