Quicken register only shows******* in balance column

I transferred my Quicken data from an older version to the new Quicken Deluxe today and in the checking account register it shows ***** instead of dollar/cents in the payment column and ***** in the balance columns. I have show dollars/cents checked. Why can't I see amounts?

    You need to widen the column.  Go up to the header and hover over the vertical lines between columns to change the width.

    First, verify the register is sorted appropriately and there aren’t any unexpected filters being applied:  open the register, select the Date column header (you want the small triangle to right of Date to point up) and Reset.

    Next, scroll down from the top of the register to determine the transaction that triggers the asterisks. Correct the transaction and repeat.  Hopefully, the conversion issue was limited to a few transactions.
