Illegal Sync

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to post your issue, although I apologize that you have been unable to find a solution.
If you have not done so already, I would start by resetting the Quicken cloud.
Go to Edit > Preferences > Quicken ID, Mobile & Alerts.
Click Reset your cloud data.
Please let me know if this resolves the error.

I'm getting the same error, on the same one transaction each time. The Cloud Sync Errors screen doesn't offer any fixes. I've seen a number of other posts about this on Quicken Help, but no solutions offered.0

This fixed my error too. Although the location for the current version of Quicken for Windows is in a slightly different named area now. Called (Mobile & Web)0
