Quicken and WIndows 10 -- NO downloading wanted
cosgrove29
Hi all -- I know that you have discussed many times questions about which older versions of Quicken work with Windows 10. But I haven't seen an answer to my question, which is: What older versions will work for a person who actively does not want any online or downloading activity at all? I am using Quicken 2003 on a 2007 computer and it is fine. What's the oldest version I can use when I only want to use it for an online checkbook? I don't want a subscription program. Thank you all very much.

I believe you wanted to say "offline".
The last version that can be used without any online registering/Quicken Id is Quicken 2013. The last version of Quicken that can be used with a Quicken Id, but no subscription is Quicken 2017. You will need to go online for every new data file to associate the Quicken Id with the data file.
You can get a free copy of Quicken 2013 Deluxe from here:

In Windows 10 64-bit, the oldest version of Quicken you should be able use is Quicken 99. In Windows 10 32-bit, the oldest version of Quicken you should be able to use is Version 3. Note: You may also run the older Quicken version in an appropriate older guest OS to avoid potential compatibility issues.
