Have notification bell zero itself out

Currently it takes 3 clicks to zero out the notification bell. Click bell, click Mark All Read, click elsewhere.

It should zero itself automatically.

Not to mention that if you click on one of the notifications and read it, that notification isn't marked read.

Not to also mention that frequently the bell will indicate that you have new messages that are really old messages that you've previously marked as read.
