"Pushpins" in One-Step Update

What do the gold-colored "pushpins" beside an account name in the list of accounts being updated with One-Step Update indicate?

    Given that "gold" is mentioned, I thin you are talking about "gold keys" not "pushpins".

    If you click on them they will in fact tell you want they are for.
    For Direct Connect, it will allow you to change your password both in the Password Vault and at the financial institution, one step.

    For Express Web Connect you will get a message telling you that the password is no longer stored in the Password Vault and is only store on the servers.

    The icons indicate the status of the request in progress.  Green is success.
