How do I post a new balance on my mortgage loan

    If you simply want to adjust the principal balance on an offline loan account, open the loan account, Ctrl + Shift + N, and select Update Balance.

    If you're downloading into this mortgage account ...  @Sherlock's advice won't work, because there's no register that you can "Update Balance"
