Errors and Troubleshooting (Windows)
OL-297-A errors trying to sync from BECU
VinceSkahan
Unable to sync from BECU while other financial institutions are fine. This has been going on about 90% of the time for many weeks. Running Quicken for Windows subscription on fully patched up Win10Pro.
Is this a known issue ?
Any way for you to work this from your end ?

I've had exactly the same problem, intermittently, for months. I've changed nothing on my computer. Yesterday, it all worked fine. today, I cannot update any of my accounts. I'm convinced the problem lies with BECU.

First, could you please provide which version release of Quicken you have currently running?

Yes I did all those things. My settings are fine. I'm running Version 32.12, Build 27.1.32 and Quicken reports me as running Windows 10 Enterprise which is incorrect.
According to 'Windows', I am running Windows 10 Pro Version 20H2 Installed on 3/30/2021 OS Build 19042.985 with Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.2020.0

I might add that 'today' it worked, but it has been so unstable for many weeks there is definitely something going on between Quicken and however BECU makes its electronic access work.

@VinceSkahan
Thanks for the update and additional information.
Since you are currently still running version release R32.12, even though it appears to be working now if the issue does reoccur, then I do also recommend updating your Quicken program to the latest version release;
R33.24
, and see if doing so will help.
To update, please navigate to
Help > Check for updates
, or you can download and install the R33.24 Mondo Patch through this
support article
.
VinceSkahan
It says I already have the latest version 32.12
VinceSkahan
ok, I did it the download+update way. Thanks. I'll keep an eye on it.
