The update failed to install
The process cannot access the file 'C:\ProgramData\Quicken\Inet\Common\patch\quickenPatch\w3113\base\RPMMigratin\MigrationTool.exe' because it is being used by another process.
I tried restarting my pc and tried the update again and got the same message.

Hi @Ronald Hall
It sounds if your Windows User D Account has become corrupted.
Create a Brand New Local User ID Account as an Administrator and see it you can update Quicken.
If you can, then you should copy your Documents over to the New Windows Account.
See this FAQ for the future: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7307115/add-your-quicken-information-to-your-posts-plus-how-you-are-connected-to-the-internetthecreator - User of Quicken Subscription R46.12 (HF1) USA & Quicken 2017 HBRP R20.6 USAWindows 10 Pro 32-Bit Build 19045.2486

This has come up before it seems like some anti-virus software is preventing the install.
You can either turn that off, or people have reported that installing using the manual patch also works.
You can get that patch install from here:
