My investment shows cash that I did not put there of $20,000. The investment value is overstated by that amount. How do I see the entry to delete / edit it to correct this problem?

First, make sure there are no hidden transactions that are confusing things. Go to Edit > Preferences > Investment transactions and make sure the Show Hidden Transactions box is checked.

Is this a newly created account, or one that you have been using in Quicken for some time?

If not a new account, has this problem been present for several months, or did it just start?

Is that $20K a single transaction ... or multiple?  What value is in the ACTION column for those transactions?
