Hi,
I have the CD version Quicken 2010 and haven't "logged in" using email for +-10years. New laptop means Quicken needs my ID but it's from an old email that is now dead so I can't access the reset email that Quicken sends there. What do I do?. And can't use the original CD as new laptop has no cd drive.

If you wish to continue using Quicken 2010, I suggest you copy the contents of the CD to a writeable drive accessible to the new PC. After you have installed Quicken 2010, I suggest you download and apply the Quicken 2010 Release R10 Mondo patch available at: http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/quickenpatches.html
Alternately, you may want to consider upgrading to the free Quicken 2013 Deluxe available at: https://assistant.quicken.com/patch/ASDES5672FR13/Old_Products/QWIN/QW2013DLX.exe
As you will be invoking programs that were designed for an earlier version of Windows, you may need to set the program file's Compatibility mode property to an earlier version of Windows for them to run correctly.

Quicken 2010 US didn't have a Quicken ID (or Inuit ID for the matter), they started in 2014.
Is this really for Quicken 2010 US?Signature:
