One step update goes to settings every time now?

Recently when I click the Update icon in task bar, I am presented with the update settings screen and have to make an extra click to start the update. Is there a way to bypass that? I update all my accounts and never change it.
Another recent change was adding an extra step to file backup. Why are we making things that were slick more clunky??

Do you leave Quicken running all the time?  The first time after a Quicken start, I find that OSU does not offer the settings window, but subsequent OSU's always show the settings window.

no I don’t keep it running. I get the settings window every OSU. That’s new in the last update or maybe two.

Well all I can say is that you aren't alone, see this thread:

But so far no one has determined why this is happening to some people.
