Global variable for lot assignment for "minimum gain" or "maximum" gain

I'm still waiting for the enhancement to globally set a variable so as to accept investment sales with the "lot" automatically chosen by either "minimum gain" or "maximum gain". FIFO and LIFO are both already available (as global variable). "Minimum gain" is what really needed most for those of us who strategically do "loss sales".

It's possible to select "choose lots for minimum gain" when accepting an individual sale. When you have a pile of sales to accept this is very tedious.

Any discussion or progress on making this available. I searched and couldn't find an open thread.
