How do I enter transactions manually into my Freedom Mortgage account? There is no plus sign.

Freedom Mortgage quit downloading into Quicken and they tell me they cannot allow Quicken due to security issues even though I have used Quicken for years and until November could download from Freedom website with no problems. Now I cannot even manually put in my payments and charges because it is a Mortgage loan account. What am I doing wrong?

No, you can't manually enter payments because you created the Account as a "downloading" Account instead of as a "manual" Account.  With a downloading Account you have absolutely no access to the loan's register, and that's why you can't affect the Account balance.

Convert the loan from "downloading" to "manual" and you'll regain access to the register:
