In Reports is there any way to put dates and categories in separate columns?

What you're actually seeing is the sub-group header (i.e, the category) being in the date column.
There's no way to change this on the particular report.
Try using the BANKING, Transactions report, subtotaled by Category instead.

I see the "BANKING, Transactions report, subtotaled by Category" appear just the same - Categories in the "Date" column.

Depending on your real objective, BANKING, Transactions report, subtotaled by DON'T, Sorted by Category might be helpful.

I can accomplish it by exporting to Excel, but why should I have to?
