Citi Double Cash Credit Card Connection Error - Care Code: ccscrape.181.

I have two Citi Double Cash credit card accounts. One connects without issue, but the other generates a connection error identified as "Care Code: ccscrape.181".

What is this connection error, and can it be fixed?

    Hi @spratleywa,

    I have seen this error code being reported in the past for a few different financial institutions, and in each case they have had to be escalated to the financial institutions for further review and resolution.  I suggest that you contact Quicken Support at this LINK.

    I wonder if this credit card can be setup with the financial institution of Citi Cards and Direct Connect (you have to go into the Advanced Options to select it).  If so, then you can get a more reliable connection.  I don't think all Citi credit cards can use this so you would just have to try it and see if it takes your username and password.  Also, you have to go to this URL to authorize it on the Citi Cards website.

    You would first deactivate the account for downloading, and then select Tools -> Add Account.


    And if you get there, make sure you link to the correct account.

    I would first try this in a new data file to make sure your credit card is available with Citi Cards/Direct Connect, without messing up what you have in your original data file.

    Oops.  Sorry, I just noticed that this is in the Mobile category.  That is a completely different story, and contacting Quicken Support is probably the only way to resolve it.
