What version of Quicken? (Help-About Quicken)I tried this in Quicken R38.29 with and without snap-to turned on in Windows preferences (Control Panel->Mouse) and can't replicate it, doesn't happen to me.Is it possibly due to a mouse setting that is specific to your brand of mouse and their proprietary software?

I see this too, Logitech mouse, snap-to on, standard Microsoft mouse drivers.
It does it when Quicken starts and when One Step Update finishes.Signature:

R38.29 on Windows 10 Pro 21H2 Build 19044.1503.
It has nothing to do with mouse settings. This is the only program that does this.0 -
And it only happens in this program after transaction updates0

It does have to do with one setting the mouse snap-to default button option.jlgkhjbl. said:R38.29 on Windows 10 Pro 21H2 Build 19044.1503.
It has nothing to do with mouse settings. This is the only program that does this.
What is happening is there is some kind of hidden control that is put up at these times that has the default button setting on, and so it goes to that spot. This has been happening for many years, and they have never fixed it. If you turn off the snap-to default button option it will stop doing that, but the snap-to default button is a very nice feature especially on a laptop where you are using a touch pad.
EDIT: Include screenshot of the setting:

This started happening ~6 months ago after an update to quicken. My mouse settings haven't changed in years. Has to be a quicken update issue.0

Have you checked the setting I showed above?jlgkhjbl. said:This started happening ~6 months ago after an update to quicken. My mouse settings haven't changed in years. Has to be a quicken update issue.

I'm not looking to change something on my end.0

Then you have to live with the problem. You can submit it using Help -> Report a problem but given that I have seen this problem for many years, and it has been reported many times, I wouldn't hold your breath on Quicken Inc fixing it in the near future.jlgkhjbl. said:I'm not looking to change something on my end.
I personally, live with the problem. The Snap to feature is one I use all the time, the minor aggravation this causes when starting Quicken and running One Step Update isn't worth not having that feature in the rest of Windows.Signature:

So, you are just being obstinate by not answering Chris_QPW's question. It couldn't be in anyway related to a Windows update that caused a change in your mouse settings?jlgkhjbl. said:I'm not looking to change something on my end.
