R38.29 - Schwab, Optum Bank, and Citi Bank - Quicken freezes after downloading

When I try to update my Charles Schwab accounts, I connect with Charles Schwab with the sign in, but when Quicken disconnects, it freezes on a blank Activate One Step Update screen. I have to go to Task Manager to shut down the program. No information from Schwab is downloaded. Have reported to Quicken, but no solution yet.

I'm not experiencing that problem so the problem might be local to your file.  The first thing I'd try is a validation of the data file.  See the "Copy and Validate Instructions" link available here: https://www.quicken.com/support/advanced-data-file-troubleshooting-correct-problems-quicken-windows

Same issue since the update to R38.29. Schwab, Optum Bank, and Citi Bank just hang there and stop responding, requiring a shutdown of the program. This is on Windows 11.

just to help clarify any probs -
please always include the version .....  Help --> About Quicken
and just in case - Win10 or Win 11
[EDIT] - also, updated the topic title to better reflect a potential overall new general problem

Mine miraculously started working today. It updated the Cloud then everything was fine.
