Fidelity accounts not syncing properly

My Fidelity account is not syncing accurately with Quicken. Upon connection reset, it syncs properly. But subsequent new trades at fidelity are not being captured in quicken, even though quicken claims that the accounted is "updated now". I have already been through the connection reset approach to try and fix. Any other suggestions? Many thanks!

Hi @atul.nyc,
Thank you for contacting the Community, I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue.
It sounds as though Quicken is showing your account as updated and syncing properly yet no new transactions are downloading? Since you have already tried to reset the connection. I would recommend deactivating and reactivating the Fidelity account. You can do this by:
First, SAVE A BACKUP!!Deactivate an account
- Click on the account name in the bar down the side of Quicken Mac
- Click the Settings gear icon in the bottom-right corner
- Click the Downloads tab
- Click the Disconnect account button
- Click Done
To Reactivate Account(s)
- Click the account name in the list displayed down the side of Quicken to open the register.
- Click the Settings gear in the lower right corner of the register view.
- Go to the Downloads tab.
- Click the Connect Account button.
- Type in the financial institution name and walk through the wizard.
- Choose LINK on the screen displayed after Quicken finds the available accounts at the financial institution for your login credentials, and carefully link to your existing Quicken account(s).
- Click Continue.
I have also provided a link to an article that discusses these steps:
https://www.quicken.com/support/mac/deactivate-and-reactivate-online-banking-services-quicken-account
Please let me know if this works so we may continue to troubleshoot if needed, I look forward to hearing your response.

Thanks Jasmine - I went through the steps you recommended, but that did not address the issue. Same problem exist: "subsequent new trades at fidelity are not being captured in quicken, even though quicken claims that the accounted is "updated now"". Any other suggestions?0

Hi @atul.nyc,
Next, I suggest disconnecting the account(s) experiencing this issue, removing the saved login credentials from the Keychain Access app, and then reconnecting the accounts. However, before doing so, I do recommend saving a backup of your data file first (just in case). Then, please check and make sure you do not have any hidden accounts that may be connected to this financial institution.- Go to the Accounts menu and choose Hide and Show Accounts
- Uncheck any accounts with this specific financial institution that are checked as hidden in Lists
- Open the account register and navigate to the Settings gear on the bottom-right corner
- Click on the Downloads tab
- Click Disconnect Account (if there are more than one account associated with this financial institution, please repeat steps 1 through 3 for each account)
- Quit Quicken
- Open Finder and navigate to Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access app
- On the left panel in the Keychain Access app, set the Keychains to Login and the Category to Passwords
- Search for the financial institution's name in the top-right search field and delete any entries found showing "Quicken password for [your financial institution username] at [financial institution name] "
- Quit the Keychain Access app and reopen Quicken
- Navigate to Accounts > New and choose the appropriate account type for the accounts that you previously deactivated
- At the bottom of the window showing the list of the financial institutions, click on the "My bank is not listed" question mark icon, then click Update List
- Wait for the list to finish updating and the " Updated: " section displays the current date.
- Click the Show List button to continue
- Use the search field at the top of the list to find and select your financial institution and click Continue
- Follow the prompts to sign in using your login credentials associated with the financial institution
- If the accounts have been found successfully; use the dropdown menus to link each account to the appropriate account in Quicken
