Tax Entries [Edited]

My old version had an option to flag entry as TAX.
That would allow the entry to show on the TAX report.
It came in handy at tax time.
I'm a frustrated senior citizen.
Is there a new location for that button ??
What's different about this quicken??

    It's NOT a transaction that's flagged as being Tax related ... but rather the CATEGORY that's used in that transaction.
    Do TOOLS, Category List, click a category (or sub-cat) that you want to make tax related and click the Clock icon to the far right of that line.
    Click EDIT, and then the Tax Reporting tab, and select the IRS tax line that you want to associate with this category.

    That option still exists even though a lot of people don't realize it because it is not used that much because it usually much easier just to use a category that has the right tax line assigned to it.

    Right click on a transaction in the register and you will see "Tax line item assignments".
    Here is an example (faked) of its use:
