Report by category not working

I have been a Quicken user for almost 2 decades and all of a sudden a simple request of how much did I give to charity last year by category is not working! This is the case whether I start with a saved report or not. Some credit cards were not getting counted which I fixed, but I have extra CATEGORIES in there (all relatively new, e.g. Vacation: Bahamas) that have nothing to do with charitable contributions and that are definitely not selected under Categories. What's happening????
