Categories: Computer Equipment

Wondering. What would be the category for computer purchases, monitors, keyboard, etc? It's for work, but work from home, non reimbursed.

That would be a personal choice.  Do you want to keep this separate from computer equipment that you purchase for purely personal use?  If so, create a new category, if not, use the one you have used in the past for computers.

This isn't really a "category" kind of question.  You can make up any kind of category you want.  The more important question would be what tax line to associate it with, and if it is even tax deductible in the first place.

I believe for it to be tax deductible you have to be doing it as a business.  And in that case the tax line would probably be "Schedule C: Office expenses".
