Quicken H&B Canada, CAD account changed to USD, and false entries too

During recent download from Scotia, the currency was changed to USD in Chequeing and two VISA account, which it incorrect. It has worked fine for 10 years.
More disturbing, in each account a phony OPENING BALANCE transaction was added, using the date 7-19-2079...where did this come from (there wasn't an opening balance transaction in the VISA account)? Has the download system been hacked?

Sadly, this is a longstanding problem that pops up occasionally, and it seems a significant amount of times recently, especially with Scotiabank. Please refer to this page for some possible solutions:

I also recommend that you contact Quicken Support to see if they have an open ticket to look into this.
