Reconcile start amount should be $25 as it is a new account?

I opened this account in Feb. 2021 with $25. when I go to reconcile start about is $1267.

Have you previously reconciled this 14 month old account?  Sure sounds like it, since apparently you have transactions in the account that already have an "R" in the CLR column.

The reconciled opening balance is the total of all of the transactions in the register marked as reconciled.

Note:  Most of us would not describe an account opened 14 months ago as new.
