Automatic download from American Express

I was setting up a new Quicken file today and I downloaded a .qfx file from American Express to create the account in Quicken. This worked fine, but Amex said that I had to activate the account in Quicken. They provide a link to Quicken, but there is no information there. I see the account in Quicken but I see no option to download transactions. I understand that this was disabled and then reinstated. How do I set this account up to do scheduled transaction downloads?
Thank you

Hello @drchevalier,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your question.
If you wish to switch the connection method from QFX (manual) downloads to an automatic transaction download method, then you first need to deactivate the account from the QFX downloads, then reactivate the account using your financial institution's login credentials from within Quicken. Please refer to this support article for instructions on deactivating and reactivating.
I hope this helps!-Quicken Anja
