Does Quicken process payments on weekends/holidays?

Question

Two questions:
 Before paying bills on Quicken, I used to schedule them from the B of A website.  When doing so, B of A would always block out holidays and weekends so if I had a bill that was due on a weekend, I would schedule it for the Friday before.  With Quicken, it appears that they are willing to schedule the payment on any day of the week, even Sundays.  Is Quicken somehow able to process payments on any day or is that a bug and I should still schedule them on the prior Friday?

Also, I notice that Quicken has a footnote saying that it may take 24 hrs to process a payment.  Does that mean my bill could potentially be paid a day late?

To clarify; are you using Quicken Bill Manager (Quick Pay and Check Pay) or Direct Connect Bill Pay (also known as Bank Bill Pay) to schedule payments in Quicken?
