Citi Checking CC-502 Error
spratleywa
Been getting CC-502 error message for my Citi checking account for at least a week now. Submitted a problem report for it.
Note, have a Citi credit card account that uses the same login credentials, but downloads work just fine.

Same problem - 502 for at least a week.

For years, I have had CC-502s and other download errors on my personal institution with savings, checking, and credit cards. It's rare that it'll be error-free for more than two weeks. I also have an American Airlines and a Costco credit card hosted by Citibank that has occasional errors. Citibank, hands down, is the worst of my institutions. It's the slowest and takes 3 minutes. I also have a data file for my mother-in-law and Citibank fails there too. Both are failing today.

Having the same problem. It started several weeks ago. Reset the connection - no luck.

Tried to reset the connection just now. No such luck. Still not working nearly 4 weeks after it went blank. I am thinking of switching to a different app. Any recommendations out there?

Same problem with Citibank here. This has been ongoing for months. I'm beginning to believe that Quicken is entring End Of Life phase. Either they don't have sufficeint, knowlegeable resources to resolve issues, or they are so insignificant that providers (financial institutions) don't bother working with them. Either way, I'm thinking it may be time to move on.

Same error. Off and on for several weeks.

This latest round of cc-502 errors on Citi banking accounts (I'm specifically excluding credit cards, which may be a different problem) began on/about May 23rd. I got the error every morning, but was able to update every afternoon. This past week, I had no trouble at all, but today (Sat 6/11), I got the error again. I attempted to update several times, one after the other. The 4th time worked. For me, this has been an intermittent issue. I did, at one point, reset the account, although it was probably unnecessary. If you choose to do that, do on a day when there are no pending transactions either on the Citi site or in you Quicken register. If there are any there, you run the risk of Quicken changing the account opening balance by the $ value of one or more of those transactions. That has happened to me several times with my Citi checking account.

I'm in the same lifeboat as all the others. Is Quicken a sinking ship? Occasionally my Citibank Costco card will update properly, but most days for the last several weeks it throws a CC-502 error. Given how long this has gone on, I'm not confident that Quicken has the technical know-how to identify the issue, much less resolve it. Quicken, it's time to up your game or thow in the towel.

this user now gets 502 errors for CITI downloads. transactions no longer will download to QCK. download only credit card charges. o/w downloading seems error-free when downloading from Wells Fargo or Chase. doesn't CITI use an older technology?
