update removed things

after the update, the + sign shortcut is gone to add a transaction and the reconcile button is gone. Now I have to go to the menu every time I want to enter a new transaction or reconcile. How can I get it back?

Are you looking at an individual bank register or have you selected one of the summary items in the account bar? Summary items show several account registers combined into one.
You need to be working with an individual bank register for some functions like reconcile to be active.

Are you seeing the bottom menu bar at all?

If this isn't at the bottom of your register, go to Preferences > Register and find Register Toolbar; try setting it to "Always Show". That will make the toolbar visible.

Let us know if that is what you were talking about.
