> After not updating my accounts since march, I tried updating my USAA accounts today and got this error.

==========
Multifactor authentication failed
----------
This connection failed, and will not update:

USAA Federal Savings Bank(*MyUserID*) - Error FDP-101 (CP_SCRIPT_ERROR - A JSONObject text must begin with '{' at 2 [character 3 line 1])

To retry the failed connection, you'll need to start a new update.

> There were many postings of errors updating USAA accounts starting around 2022-04-11, but that problem was supposedly fixed in May.

> One suggestion found was to reauthorize the login.
Quicken > Accounts > Settings > Downloads > Update Login
Re-entered everything (user ID, password, PIN, texted code) and got the following error.

==========
Server communication error
----------
Sync Error

    Another detail. Trying again to connect, it failed for my checking account saying
    ==========
    Download Error (-32)
    CP_ACCOUNT_NOT_FOUND
    Last attempt: Today - 08:49
    0 new transactions downloaded
    ==========

    But "Account Status" for a credit card with the same bank says for the same time:
    ==========
    Last Connection Successful
    0 new transactions downloaded
    ==========

    Something seems seriously messed up. :(

    What worked:
    Quicken > Select account to update from "All Transactions" list on the left
    > Tab: Accounts > Settings > tab: Downloads > Reset Connection
    > this time *clicked the link* to get an Account ID and PIN from my bank.
