A phone number that is not mine appears on the dropdown for 2-factor auth.
ctcmiller
Periodically during downloads, Quicken encounters a credit account requiring 2-factor auth. The program then provides me with a dropdown list of phone numbers and emails as options for receiving the code. The most recent time this occurred, one of the phone numbers listed is one that I do not recognize (not a current or former phone number of mine.) How can I remove that option from the dropdown menu?

Hello
@ctcmiller
,
Thank you for contacting the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that you are experiencing this issue with your 2-factor authentication phone number.
Phone numbers pulled for 2FAs are sent directly from the financial institution's servers so I suggest reaching out to your bank for further assistance regarding getting this unknown phone number removed. It is recommended to request to speak to a tier 2 agent or a supervisor as they are generally more familiar with third-party applications such as Quicken.
I hope this helps!
