Why is Application reacting slowly since updated to 6.8.1

Running Version 6.8.1 on MacBook Pro 2018 running System Catalina 10.15.7 and ever since updated to Quicken 6.8.1, opening application and making entries has become very slow. It takes several seconds to enter a new transaction.

    Thank you for contacting the Quicken Community, though I do apologize that your Quicken for Mac application is running slower than normal. 

    Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling Quicken? Please refer to the following support articles for instructions on uninstalling here and reinstalling here.
