Quicken Says Mortgage Account Updated but Nothing Changes

I've entered my mortgage into quicken several months back, it seems to be able to login to my bank (Provident) and it gives the green check mark as though it's updated but nothing changes in the account in quicken, I see no actual payment history and the balance remains the same. I go to view payment schedule and it seems to know perfectly well what should be happening moving forward but it does not download any past payment info or apply the schedule. Seems so stupid.
And of course it also seems I'm totally powerless to enter anything manually. Anyone have a hint for me?
