How do I remove a reoccurring payment?

I want to remove the payment completely, not just the next occurrence!

    Where is it showing up?  What have you already tried?
    How are you paying it?  Q  BilllPay or your bank's BillPay?
    Why can't you simply delete it?

    It is showing up in my ledger to be paid, and every time I delete it, it repost for the next month. I'm using Wells Fargo bill pay. I followed the direction in the edit menu to delete it however it continues to post in the ledger for the next month? Thank you for responding!
